Print Partner Agreement
Last updated: 2026-05-13. This is a v1 draft pending review by counsel before launch.
This page is the web companion to the Print Partner Agreement you signed at onboarding. It describes, in plain language, what working with Loni as a print partner looks like. The signed agreement controls if anything here conflicts with it. The general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy also apply.
1. Who this covers
Print partners are companies that Loni admin invites to fulfill physical book orders (paperback, hardcover). There is no self-service partner signup — partners join via an invite from a Loni administrator after the agreement is signed at onboarding.
2. What you do
For each print job assigned to you, you:
- accept (or decline with reason) within the SLA window agreed at signup, typically 24 hours;
- print the book to the specs in the print-master PDF Loni supplies, in the trim size and format the customer ordered;
- ship to the customer's shipping address using a carrier appropriate for the region;
- upload a proof-of-delivery photo or carrier tracking number to your partner portal at
/partner/print-jobs/:idwhen the parcel is in the customer's hands.
Quality is measured against the print master Loni supplies — paper stock, binding, color profile per your signed agreement. Misprints or damaged copies are your responsibility to reprint at your own cost.
3. Print files and customer data
The print-master PDFs we send you are confidential:
- you store them only for as long as the active print job needs them, plus 30 days for return / re-shipping edge cases, then you delete them;
- you do not redistribute, reuse, or extract content from them;
- you do not use them outside the scope of the assigned print job.
The customer's shipping data (name, address, phone where present) is sent only so you can fulfill the order:
- you use it only for the assigned shipment;
- you do not resell it, share it, or use it for marketing;
- you follow Côte d'Ivoire personal-data law (Loi 2013-450) where applicable.
4. Fees and payouts
Your share of each physical sale is set at signup (default 15% of the customer-paid total; negotiable). Splits in detail:
| Party | Default | Negotiable | |---|---|---| | Creator | 70% | per book by creator | | Platform (Loni) | 15% | no | | Partner (you) | 15% | yes — agreed at signup |
The shares sum to 100% by construction. Your percentage absorbs your printing cost; Loni does not pay print costs separately.
Payouts are manual:
- request a payout from your partner portal at any time, for any amount up to your available balance;
- a Loni admin transfers the money (Mobile Money, bank wire, or the method you set up at signup) and marks the request paid in our system;
- the transfer reference and proof are recorded on the payout request for audit.
You are responsible for your own taxes on partner income.
5. Quality and failure
If you miss the SLA — acceptance window, print + ship deadline, or address-update response — for more than 5% of jobs in a calendar month, we may pause your partner status until the issue is resolved.
If a print is rejected by the customer because of a quality defect (not a print-master defect on our side), the reprint is at your cost, including the carrier cost of returning and re-shipping.
If a print is rejected because the print master we sent you is wrong, that is on us — we reissue and you bill the reprint at the agreed per-copy fee.
6. Standard provisions
- Termination: either party can end the agreement on 30 days' written notice to partners@helloloni.com. In-flight print jobs assigned to you before the termination date are completed at the agreed fee. Print masters held under §3 are deleted within 30 days of termination.
- Outstanding payouts: your final payout balance is settled within 60 days of termination.
- Confidentiality: §3 obligations survive termination indefinitely for the content held during the partnership.
- Signed agreement controls: where this page conflicts with the signed Print Partner Agreement, the signed agreement controls.
- Governing law: Côte d'Ivoire law unless your signed agreement specifies otherwise. Disputes are resolved by the competent courts of Abidjan (or as specified in the signed agreement).
- Contact: partners@helloloni.com for partnership questions; legal@helloloni.com for legal questions.
